Branding the
TV show
that makes fun of
TV shows.

Role: Art Director/3D Designer
Client: E! Network

As E! Network was undergoing a massive re-branding effort, executive producers of The Soup was left with a dillemma of updating the show to the new, clean look of the network, but without making it so polished that the show would lose it’s spunk. After all, The Soup isn’t a real talk show. In fact, the show often mocks it’s peer-network programming.

I pitched various concepts for segment graphics that hailed the irreverent soul of The Soup, but still fit the slick clean look the network wanted.

Graphic packages were built so that screens could be updated with the latest target of the week without heavy render times.
